One of the most remarkable events in the cultural calendar for the 2025/2026 season was the guest performance of world-renowned ballet star Daniil Simkin at the National Opera and Ballet. Invited by the director of the National Ballet, Marta Petkova, Daniil Simkin performed the role of Prince Desiré alongside his partner Maria Kochetkova. Our student, Evelin Kachuleva — a student of Asya Eneva and currently studying at the National School of Dance Art in the class of Yana Marinova — was among the children who took part in the performance alongside Simkin and Kochetkova. This was an exceptional privilege and a rare opportunity for a first professional appearance on the stage of the National Opera.
